Jasprit Bumrah was born on 6 December 1993 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is an Indian international cricketer. Bumrah is currently a very important player for India in all three formats, in front of whom even the best players lose .He is currently the most dangerous bowler in the world. He is currently the vice-captain of India’s test team. Bumrah’s bowling action is different from all others, which makes him the best bowler in the world cricket. Bumrah plays domestic cricket for Gujarat and Bumrah plays for Mumbai Indians in IPL When India won the 2024 T20 World Cup under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, he was part of the team.Bumrah won the player of the tournament award by taking 15 wickets in 8 matches in T20 world cup 2024 with an economical economy of just 4.17 .Bumrah has picked South African explosive batsman De Villiers as his first Test wicket And as his 200th Test wicket, he dismissed Australia’s explosive batsman Travis Head .In the fourth Test match of Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024, Bumrah has become the first bowler in the world to take 200 wickets with an economy of less than 20 i.e. 19.5.

Early life
Jaspreet Bumrah’s early life was full of ups and downs .Jaspreet Bumrah was born on 6 December 1993 in a simple family in Ahmedabad, Gujarat .His family belonged to the Sikh community . At the age of 5, Bumrah’s father Jasvir Singh died due to Hepatitis B and his family was in grief. Bumrah’s mother Daljeet Bumrah was a simple teacher in a school.Despite the poor financial condition of the house, Jaspreet Bumrah’s family supported Bumrah’s passion for cricket. Bumrah did his early schooling from Nirman High School and started his cricket career from there. Bumrah’s early coaches Kishore Trivedi and Ketul Purohit recognized Bumrah’s passion for cricket and coached him. Bumrah fully embraced cricket at the age of 14.He plays domestic cricket for Gujarat and IPL for Mumbai Indians.
Domestic Career
Bumrah plays domestic cricket for Gujarat. Bumrah made his domestic T20 debut in the 2012-13 Sayed Mustaq Ali Trophy against Maharashtra and Took 3 wickets for 14 runs against Punjab in the final and also won the Man of the Match award . On 18 March 2013, the then coach of IPL franchise Mumbai Indians, John Wright, impressed by Bumrah’s bowling, signed him for Mumbai Indians.Bumrah played his first class debut match against Vidarbha in October 2013 and took 7 wickets giving 89 runs to his name .During the first two matches of the 2015-16 Vijay Hazare Trophy, players of other teams protested against his bowling action and he did not get a chance to play two match.The team management resolved the issue of Bumrah’s bowling action and he played the final match in which Bumrah took 5 wickets against Delhi And made his team Gujarat the champion.
International Career
Bumrah first made his debut in international cricket in ODI cricket .Bumrah made his ODI debut against Australia in January 2016 and took 2 wickets for 40 runs. Bumrah dismissed Australia’s Steve Smith as his first ODI International wicket .Bumrah made his T20I debut on 26 January 2016 against Australia and dismissed David Warner as his first T20I wicket and Bumrah took 3 wickets giving 23 runs in his debut T20I match .Bumrah was selected for the 2016 T20 world cup And in T20 world cup 2016, Bumrah took 4 wickets with an economy rate of 7.65, which also includes the wicket of Chris Gayle against West Indies, which he took in the semi-final.In August 2016, Bumrah broke the record of most wickets (28) in a calendar year in T20I . In 2017, Bumrah was selected for the ICC champions trophy in which Bumrah’s performance was not very special and he did not get any wicket in the first 2 matches of the ICC champions trophy . India lost the ICC Champions Trophy final against Pakistan. After this Bumrah toured Sri Lanka and took a record-breaking 15 wickets in this ODI series .Bumrah achieved the first position in ICC men’s ODI player ranking for the first time in ODI 2018.
